As the title says, the belgian U23 mixed team wins an amazing silver medal at the World Under23 Championships in Firenze, Italy !!!!!!!! The final against champions Great Britain ended with 17-11.
Needless to say that this is one hell of a phenomenal prestation, even though you might say they didn't bring home the gold.
History has been written and this proves that there is a lot of potential running around in our small country.
Let's keep on supporting this and equally as important : let's be proud of this amazing achievement !!!!!

Yeeeeeesssss Vice World Champion !!! Now that I read all these posts I start to realise even more what we achieved! It was in-sane!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenAbout the final: On one hand it was maybe the most disgusting game I ever played. Horrible calls by GB, no spirit at all. On the other hand we had an amazing support from the WHOLE crowd from the first to the last minute and that's something I'll never forget. Except from the huge amount of calls, they also made the difference physically and in the air so we also have to admit they were stronger.
Anyway, I'm so proud of this achievement and I hope this can be the start to boost Belgian ultimate to the top in europe! Thanks for all the support!!! Go Belgium u20 & u17 in Heilbronn!!
ps. I'm getting in touch with GB to get the video of the final. That's the only game that got filmed..
