Belgian Championship (BUOC) Promises Excitement !

After we've played the first weekend of the Belgian Ultimate Outdoor Championship some conclusions can already be taken.

The biggest one is that I'm pretty sure the next weekend will bring a lot of excitement ! The race for the title is going to be an amazing one since Gentle already beat Moon, Moon beat Jetset, Freezzzbeezzz beat Moon, Jetset beat Freezzzbeezzz.....

Not to say that this will be the four teams to make it to the semi finals but I'm actually pretty sure about Gentle (defending champions), Jetset (currently vice-champions) and Mooncatchers (2009 champs) to make it to the top 3.

Next to the higher level between top teams it seems like belgian ultimate is truly growing.
24 teams brought a lot of players and I saw a whole lot of new faces. There have been a big bunch of exciting games between a lot of teams at what one might call the belgian "subtop". It's great to see everybody give it their all to reach a higher level of play at a championship that's just simply amazing.
We all know the belgian attitude is one of respect and fun on and off the field an it simply showed last weekend. The sun was there and there were a lot of smiling faces.
